Sistersiren a été officiellement formé le 20 septembre 2008, bien qu'il y eut une première formation une année auparavant. En août Sofia (Chant) et Shamala (Claviers) ont rejoint Lenka (Basse) et ont fusionné leurs idées pour s'ouvrir à de nouveaux horizons. Un nouveau départ. SisterSiren s'impose très rapidement en Ukraine. C'est une bouffée d'air frais pour les amateurs de vraie musique, un vrai groupe composé de vraies artistes feminines. Elles jouent elles-même en live, elles adorent la scène, composent leurs propres morceaux, écrivent les paroles sur des sujets de la vie quotidienne en y apportant leur point de vue, le tout sur des sons très inovateurs.

SisterSiren, bien qu'étant un jeune groupe, a déjà atteint bon nombre de ses objectifs. Elles ont tout d'abord fait bouger toute l'Ukraine avec leur toute première vidéo "Trideo" à laquelle a participé l'un des plus apprécié et célèbre groupe de rock ukrainien: GrennGrey.

Cette première vidéo aura su attirer très positivement le regard des critiques. Très inhabituel pour un groupe débutant de se lancer avec une telle vidéo. Un travail de production énorme que cette histoire très colorée d'Alice aux Pays des Merveilles. Certains diront d'elle qu'elle est aussi psychédélique que captivante.

SisterSiren obtiendra d'ailleurs un premier award de la Meilleure Vidéo. La deuxième récompense suivra même aux MTV's Hip Hop Awards!! Même si SisterSiren ne revendique aucun lien profond avec le Hip Hop, il réussit toutefois à également attirer l'attention dans cette catégorie! Et cette fois, ce fut pour l'Award du meilleur remix R'N'B avec "Trideo".

En juin de cette année les filles ont fait la première partie du concert de Lenny Kravitz à Kiev, étape ukrainiène de sa tournée mondiale,  avec la présentation de leur deuxième vidéo: "Fever". En même temps, chaque semaine, un remix différent de Trideo faisait son apparition sur les ondes et sur le différentes chaines ukrainiènes, les propulsant chaque jour un peu plus au sommet.

Juste après le changement de leurs membres, SisterSiren est parti en tournée avec MTV Ukraine. En ce moment, les filles paufinent une version remixée de "Fever" et s'activent à écrire les nouveaux morceaux de l'album à venir. L'année prochaine s'annoncera très rock'n'roll pour les filles!!

It was unusual for someone so young to put their feet down with a video like that. Huge post production work, colorful Alice-In-Wonderland story. As some said very psychodelic and captivating. SisterSiren receives their first award, for The Best Video. The Second award was at the MTV's Hip Hop r'n'b awards. Although the band has nothing to do with hip hop, they still managed to get noticed even in that field. This time they received the award for the best r'n'b remixed track. "Trideo" In june they opened for Lenny Kravitz Released their second Video "Fever" As well as some Trideo video - remixes Every week, on different charts on the radio and TV in Ukraine their tracks would make it to the top.
